Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Room Service Cook II for 1st and 2nd shift. You will lead the Room Service line, ensure patient meals follow recipes, portion sizes, and plating standards, and coordinate with the Expeditor to deliver meals within 45 minutes.

Requires a high school diploma or GED or 3 years in food service; Serv Safe certification preferred; knowledge of DHEC regulations; ability to work in high-volume production; strong hygiene and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the operation of the Room Service Line.
• Cooks, preps and pans bulk items for the Room Service line.
• Sets the pace with the Expeditor to deliver meals within 45 minutes of ordering.
• Maintains and completes food service logs and DHEC reports.
• Trains and mentors new Room Service cooks.
