Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT is seeking a Room Service Customer Service Representative. This on-call role services in-room dining guests, takes orders, and processes them through the POS system, while up-selling items and providing helpful recommendations.

You will work with the Room Service team and coordinate with Front Desk and Housekeeping as needed, maintain a tidy workstation, and adhere to department policies. Previous fast food or restaurant service and POS knowledge are preferred.

• Previous guest service experience.
• Knowledge of point of sale (POS) tendering.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and document guest orders into the POS.
• Actively upsell products using endorsements when appropriate.
• Provide information about food, beverages and casino amenities.
• Process guest transactions via cash, comp, coupon, credit card or ticket.
• Assist other staff and connect guests to Front Desk or Housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation per policies.
