Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Room Service Cook to prepare meals for patient room service operations. You will ensure meals meet diet orders, maintain high safety and sanitation standards, and coordinate with dining and call center teams to deliver timely service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for patient room service operations in accordance with recipes, production schedules and diet orders.
• Follow therapeutic diet requirements and physician-prescribed nutrition plans to ensure safe, appropriate meals.
• Ensure meal accuracy, quality, presentation and portion control for every meal.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and infection prevention standards throughout preparation and service.
• Coordinate with room service, hospitality and call center staff to support timely meal delivery and positive patient experiences.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust preparation activities to meet patient and department needs.
• Complete required food safety, temperature, production and quality documentation accurately.
• Promote dining experiences that support healing and patient well-being.
• Support inventory management and minimize waste.
