Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is seeking a part-time team member for the Des Moines Sheraton in Des Moines, IA. You will greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverage options.

You will take and deliver orders, process payments, maintain a clean station, and coordinate with the kitchen while following safety procedures. Prior customer service experience is a plus and flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience is a plus.
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certified or willing to certify within 60 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 20 lbs, and stand/walk for the full shift.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverage options.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms with care and timeliness.
• Accurately process guest payments and report tips for tax compliance.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked wait station and handle VIP amenity setups.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures, including coordination with the kitchen.
