Job summary

Atrium Hospitality in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a part-time breakfast/guest services associate for Des Moines Embassy Suites. You will prepare and present breakfast and evening reception, keep areas clean, and assist guests with questions throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Restaurant, customer service, or cashier experience preferred.
• Food safety and alcohol awareness certifications or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during your shift.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set the stage for a great guest experience by preparing, presenting, and maintaining our complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception.
• Keep everything clean, stocked, and guest-ready—buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment.
• Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and handle questions or concerns quickly and professionally.
• Jump in where needed—whether that’s light food prep, restocking, bussing tables, or supporting bar/service areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and team members.
• Monitor food quality, proper storage, and temperature standards throughout your shift.
• Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently.
• Communicate key updates during shift changes to keep everyone aligned.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and report any issues as needed.

Compensation Range : $15.00-$15.75
