Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco is seeking a Room Service Busperson (Extra/On-call) to join our team. This union, non-management, non-full-time role supports service in the hotel’s dining areas and guest rooms.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in a bar/lounge/restaurant or Room Service, with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Must have minimum one year experience in a bar/lounge/restaurant and/or in Room Service.
• Must be able to cope with stress and work in a high-volume operation.
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends & holidays.
• Internal candidates must be free of active discipline.
• Education: High school education or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lift and carry food trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Push and pull tables and chairs as required.
• Retrieve tables from guest floors in an organized and accurate manner.
• Clear, clean and set tables, chairs, linens, glassware and silverware in an unobtrusive manner.

We are currently recruiting for a Room Service Busperson (Extra/On-call). This is a union, non-management and non-full time position.

Essential Functions

• Position regularly involves lifting food trays plates weighing up to 30 lbs
• Pushing and pulling tables and chairs is required
• Ability to retrieve tables from guest floors in an organized and accurate manner
• Clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, glassware and silverware in an unobtrusive manner

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language, to include effectively communicating with internal and external guests.
• Must have minimumone year experience in a bar/lounge/restaurant and/or in Room Service
• Must be able to cope with stress and work in a high volume operation
