Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a patient-focused Food Service Aide to serve meals to patients and assist with meal ordering.

You will restock pantry, ensure diet orders are met, and help on the tray assembly line while following HACCP and safety guidelines. Prior food service experience preferred; HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Three months of food service experience required.
• Ability to read, measure accurately and perform basic math.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members.

• Checks all meals for accuracy and adherence to appropriate diet orders.
• Works positions on tray assembly line.
• Follows proper food handling techniques according to HACCP and local agencies.
