Des Moines Sheraton, located in West Des Moines, IA, is seeking a part-time Food & Beverage team member. You will greet guests, present menus, take and deliver orders, and process payments while maintaining a clean work area.

Hotel: Des Moines Sheraton 1800 50th Street West Des Moines, IA 50266 Part time Compensation Range: $11-$11.55

What You Will Do:

• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and suggest food and beverage options
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms with care and timeliness
• Accurately process guest payments and report tips for tax compliance
• Maintain a clean and well‑stocked wait station and handle VIP amenity setups
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures, including coordination with the kitchen

What We Are Looking For:

• Prior customer service experience (server or cashier experience is a plus)
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certified or willing to become certified within 60 days
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 20 lbs, and stand/walk for the full shift
• Friendly and professional demeanor with strong communication skills
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
