Job summary

PENN Entertainment's Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Colorado is hiring for a facilities maintenance role. 18+ years old for all positions; 21+ for certain beverage roles.

The position involves hands-on maintenance, guest interaction, and a requirement to handle plumbing and electrical tasks as needed. Candidates should have at least 1 year in hospitality facilities maintenance, good problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure within a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of facilities maintenance experience in hospitality or related field.
• Must be able to perform light plumbing and electrical repairs and basic handyman tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Must have great interpersonal skills as you will be dealing directly with our guests.
• Must be able to work under pressure as multiple calls and work orders can be received at the same time.
• Must be able to prioritize calls and work orders.
• Must be able to perform light plumbing and electrical repairs and basic handyman skills.
• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.

• Knowledge of maintaining pools and spas is desirable but not required.

Requirements

• Must be able to un-clog toilets and drains, replace light bulbs, repair leaking plumbing fixtures, replace light switches and receptacles in the guestrooms and in other areas of the property.
• Will be involved in larger projects as business levels allow.
• Will be involved with maintaining the pool and spas.
• Working as part of a team, you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that Team Members follow uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
