As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Room Inspector is to supervise and oversee the cleaning activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure that guest rooms and common areas are clean, orderly, and attractive by reporting any spot cleaning needs to the Room Attendants, inspecting completed rooms to ensure proper cleanliness and supplies, and promptly updating the status of rooms after inspection. This role is also responsible for ensuring that rooms are completed by the end of the shift and the training and development of housekeeping staff. A crucial part of this role is to regularly conduct formal room inspections to maintain consistent standards of cleanliness and report any maintenance or operational issues to the manager.
