Job summary

Piping Rock Health Products, INC is seeking a Room Cleaner under the direction of the Manager to maintain the cleanliness of machinery and the rooms. You will wash the room and the machines inside, ensuring residue removal and thorough cleaning of equipment, walls, ceilings, and floors.

Document the cleaning process in log books, comply with GMP/SOPs, and follow safety rules. This is a drug-free, FDA-regulated facility with Equal Opportunity employment and listed benefits.

Qualifications

• Must comply with GMP requirements; training will be provided during GMP and on-the-job.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.

Responsibilities

• Washes the room and the machines inside the room.
• Removes residual material; cleans equipment, walls, ceilings, and floors.
• Rinses washed equipment to remove soap residue.
• Documents the cleaning process in log books as required.
• Complies with company policies; maintains regular attendance.
• Follows safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
• Adheres to SOPs and cGMPs to assure product quality and quantity.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Under the direction of the Manager/ supervisor the Room Cleaner is responsible for the constant upkeep and cleaning of the machinery and rooms.

Responsibilities:

• Washes the room and the machines inside the room.
• Ensures that residual material is removed, and that the equipment/walls/ceilings/floors are thoroughly cleaned.
• Rinses washed equipment thoroughly to remove soap residue.
• Document the cleaning process in the log books, as required.
• Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance.
• Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and/or cGMP guidelines.
• Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Basic mathematical skills
• Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours
• Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment
