Responsibilities
- Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
- Clean rooms daily following the Housekeeping Guidelines while maintaining standards.
- Check fixtures, television, radio, and heating/cooling equipment for proper operation.
- Set heating/cooling equipment and radio to proper settings.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report on service requests.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including changing bedspreads, blankets, mattress pads, and shower curtains.
- Log rooms cleaned on daily housekeeping reports. Fold terry and linen while waiting for rooms.
- Clean, organize, and restock carts at the end of the day.
- Deliver supply baskets to laundry for restocking.
- Maintain cleanliness of carts, linen rooms, and vacuum cleaners.
- Turn in keys and room status reports to the Guest Room Supervisor or front desk.
- Know how to operate laundry equipment and maintain public area cleanliness.
- Wear proper uniform at all times according to appearance standards.
- Understand emergency procedures thoroughly.
- Practice safety standards at all times.
- Be able to move luggage, packages, or furniture weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Perform other duties as assigned and capable of performing.
