Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
• Clean rooms daily following the Housekeeping Guidelines while maintaining standards.
• Check fixtures, television, radio, and heating/cooling equipment for proper operation.
• Set heating/cooling equipment and radio to proper settings.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report on service requests.
• Perform general cleaning duties, including changing bedspreads, blankets, mattress pads, and shower curtains.
• Log rooms cleaned on daily housekeeping reports. Fold terry and linen while waiting for rooms.
• Clean, organize, and restock carts at the end of the day.
• Deliver supply baskets to laundry for restocking.
• Maintain cleanliness of carts, linen rooms, and vacuum cleaners.
• Turn in keys and room status reports to the Guest Room Supervisor or front desk.
• Know how to operate laundry equipment and maintain public area cleanliness.
• Wear proper uniform at all times according to appearance standards.
• Understand emergency procedures thoroughly.
• Practice safety standards at all times.
• Be able to move luggage, packages, or furniture weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned and capable of performing.
