Job summary

Century Hospitality in New Martinsville, WV is hiring for a part-time, on-site housekeeping and guest services role. You will contribute to room cleaning, laundry operations, and stocking supplies to support a clean and welcoming environment.

The position emphasizes customer service, adherence to safety and appearance standards, and teamwork with the front desk and maintenance teams. Weekend shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
• Clean rooms daily following housekeeping guidelines and standards.
• Set heating/cooling equipment and radio to proper settings.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report requests.
• Perform daily general cleaning and changing of bedspreads, blankets, mattress pads and shower curtains as assigned.
• Log rooms cleaned on the daily housekeeping report and restock linen and towels.
• Maintain cart, linen room, and vacuum cleaner cleanliness.
• Turn in key and room status reports to Guest Room Supervisor or front desk.
• Know how to operate laundry equipment and maintain public area cleanliness.
• Wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.
• Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Practice safety standards at all times.
• Be able to move luggage weighing up to 40lbs.
• Employee must perform other duties as assigned.

Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providethehighest quality of service to the customer at all times.
• Ensure guestsatisfactionthrough room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
• Cleanrooms per day following the Housekeeping Guidelines while maintaining established standards.
• Setheating/coolingequipmentand radio on proper settings.
• Inspectroomfor maintenance needs and report on maintenance service requests.
• Performdailygeneralclean duties and changing of bedspreads, blankets, mattress pads and shower curtains as assigned.
• Log rooms cleaned on daily housekeeping report. Fold terry and linen while waiting for rooms.
• Clean,organize,and restockcart at the end of the day (terry, cups, toilet paper, rags, and fill spray bottles) Deliver supply basket to laundry for restocking.
• Maintaincart,linen room, and vacuum cleaner cleanliness.
• Turn in key and room status report to Guest Room Supervisor or front desk.
• Knowhowto operate laundry equipment and maintain public area cleanliness.
• Mustwearproperuniformat all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.
• Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Practicesafetystandardsat all times.
• Be able to move luggage, packages, or furniture weighing up to 40lbs.
