Loews Regency New York Hotel is seeking a detail-driven Room Attendant (Substitute) to maintain spotless, welcoming guest spaces on the famed Park Avenue. You will replace linens and amenities, report maintenance issues, and keep carts and closets organized, all while delivering friendly service that aligns with Loews’ standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cleaning experience, and basic English.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels’ standards.
• Replace linens, amenities, and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets, ensuring supplies are stocked and used properly.
• Report lost items, suspicious behavior, and any irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Deliver friendly, helpful guest interactions that enhance satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemical use and emergency situations.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
