Job summary

The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa in Southern California is seeking a detail-oriented housekeeper for a seasonal 3‑month assignment. The position offers an ocean-view work setting and an hourly rate of $21.50/hour, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms to high standards, coordinating with housekeeping and front desk teams, and adding thoughtful touches to guests' stays.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read, understand, interpret and carry out directions.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to walk and stand 95% of the shift.
• Must be able to use hands to grasp, hold and use for manual activities.

Duties and responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms daily ensuring all areas are completed in the designated timeframe.
• Ensure that all guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Provide thoughtful touches to enhance the guest experience, such as arranging personal items, closing curtains, and placing bedside mats.
• Work closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to ensure guest preferences and special requests are met.

Qualifications

• Must have good organization skills.
