The Room Attendant will provide cleaning, maintenance, and support in maintaining the hotel’s positive appearance. The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel, both interior and immediate exterior, are properly cleaned, and that guest rooms meet the high standards expected at the property. The hotel team takes pride in upholding a high level of professionalism and service that guests have come to enjoy and will rely on the Room Attendant staff to help meet guest expectations. Occasionally, the Room Attendant may also assist with guest check-ins and check-outs.

Rate: $20.25 p/h

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens and towels, dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
• Replenish guest room amenities and supplies, including toiletries, paper products, and coffee supplies.
• Ensure guest rooms are clean, orderly, and ready for guest arrival within established timeframes.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned public areas and housekeeping areas as needed.
• Restock housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment as necessary.
• Follow all housekeeping procedures, safety and security guidelines, and hotel standards.
• Handle guest belongings and hotel property appropriately and report lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Communicate room status and any guest or maintenance concerns to the appropriate supervisor or front desk.
• Maintain a professional appearance and arrive on time, ready to work.

Requirements/Skills:

• Previous experience as a Room Attendant is preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-performance standards.
• Strong ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Team-oriented with good communication and a positive attitude.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and general workplace safety practices
