your employer is seeking a Room Attendant to support our hotel in delivering clean and welcoming guest spaces. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks across rooms and public areas, while upholding our hospitality standards and guiding principles.

The role requires physical stamina and a commitment to service excellence. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restocking amenities, reporting issues, and ensuring accuracy of room status.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner.
• Keep work area clean and neat, free from dust and litter.
• Load carts with supplies needed to perform duties.
• Clean guest rooms as assigned within the time limits: beds, vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, restocking amenities, and waste disposal.
• Ensure room status is accurate; report discrepancies to Inspector.
• Submit Lost & Found items per procedures and complete assignment sheets.
• Ensure equipment works and supplies are stocked; report needs for repair or orders.
• Flexible to work day shifts, weekends, and holidays.

The Room Attendant will perform a combination of tasks in order to maintain the hotel and public space with impeccable standards of cleanliness while embracing the values of company culture and guiding principles!

Responsibilities:

• This position requires you to perform a combination of tasks that maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner.
• Keep work area clean and neat, free from dust and litter.
• Load carts with supplies needed to perform duties.
• Cleans all guest rooms as assigned within the required time limit. Duties in each room include:
  • Change bed linens and make the bed.
  • Vacuum carpet. Moves furniture as needed to clean.
  • Dust and clean all furniture, including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TV’s, armoires, desks, etc.
  • Clean mirrors, surfaces, windows, walls, etc.
  • Thoroughly clean the bathroom area by washing the shower/tub, sink, floor, toilet, etc.
  • Replace room amenities such as bathroom supplies, drinking glasses, writing supplies, etc.
  • Empty wastebaskets.
  • Ensure guest room setup complies with standards.
  • Reports any discrepancies in room status, why the room was not completed, etc., to the Inspector.
  • Turns in all Lost & Found items following the standard procedures.
  • Fills out assignment sheet as each room is completed.
  • Ensures all equipment is in working order and all supplies are up to par. Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Flexible to work day shifts, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

Physical:

• Able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and 20lbs regularly.
• Able to bend, twist, and squat repeatedly.
• Able to walk and stand for the duration of the scheduled shift
