Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is seeking an Italian Sous Chef to uphold quality standards in all kitchen stations under the Executive Chef. The role supports the Sous Chef and line cooks, maintaining portion control, consistency, and timely service within a vibrant, high-volume property.

You will rotate through all kitchen areas, assist with daily responsibilities, and help maintain labeling, storage, and inventory control while ensuring compliance with health codes and safety

Responsibilities

• Assist Sous Chef and Cook in quality and portion control of products.
• Be flexible and able to work all kitchen areas.
• Promote positive customer relations; handle guest complaints.
• Assist other line employees with daily responsibilities.
• Prepare production in accordance with established standards set by Restaurant Chef.
• Ensure proper labeling, rotation, storage temperature and environment.
• Strive to eliminate over-production and over-purchasing.
• Maintain quality inventory control of production.
• Ensure that production and storage areas comply with city/state health codes.
• Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
