As a Room Attendant/Housekeeper, you are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and other public areas to uphold the hotel's service standards. You are a team player dedicated to completing all job functions while maintaining excellent customer service and positive coworker interactions. The Room Attendant/Housekeeper should enthusiastically follow all instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety procedures to ensure the best guest experience.

Responsibilities of the Ideal Candidate

• Welcome guests and visitors with friendly, courteous service through effective communication and a helpful demeanor.
• Conduct continuous facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to property standards.
• Enter and prepare guest rooms for cleaning at appropriate times.
• Handle room and guest items with discretion and respect during cleaning.
• Make beds and replace linens as needed.
• Replenish guest room supplies and bathroom amenities.
• Clean bathrooms and closets.
• Vacuum and rake carpets.
• Follow security protocols when entering and leaving rooms, ensuring they are secured upon departure.
• Record or report lost items accurately to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Clean public areas to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Maintain and stock housekeeping carts throughout the day.
• Follow all hotel policies and procedures, providing excellent customer service and efficient operations.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and regulations, understanding all safety policies.
• Participate in safety and security efforts, including inspections and emergency procedures.

Pay starts at: $17.00 per hour

Experience and Education

• Preferred 1 year of housekeeping experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, and kneel.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
