Room Attendant - Housekeeping (Full Time)

Pay starts at: $17 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all guests and visitors are welcomed and given responsive, friendly, and courteous service through cordial communication and a helpful demeanor.
• Execute facility inspections continuously to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to property standards.
• Enter and prepare guest rooms for cleaning during appropriate times.
• Handle guest rooms and items with discretion and respect during cleaning.
• Make beds and replace linens.
• Replenish supplies and bath amenities in guest rooms.
• Clean bathrooms and closets.
• Vacuum and rake carpets.
• Follow security guidelines when entering and exiting rooms, ensuring they are secured upon departure.
• Record or report lost items accurately to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Clean public areas to maintain a fresh guest environment.
• Maintain and stock housekeeping carts efficiently throughout the day.
• Adhere to all hotel policies, including customer service and operational procedures.
• Follow OSHA safety rules and participate in safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1 year of housekeeping experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, stoop, and kneel.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders.
