Focus Areas

  1. Greet guests warmly and courteously.
  2. Clean guest rooms according to standards within the assigned time, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  3. Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
  4. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls, or equipment.
  5. Report any repairs needed in guest rooms to management.
  6. Handle lost and found items in accordance with hotel policies.
  7. Practice safe work habits, use protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
  8. Perform housekeeping and lobby duties during staff shortages or peak periods.
  9. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve overall and departmental guest satisfaction.
  10. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. High school diploma preferred.
  2. Previous cleaning experience or equivalent training required.
  3. Ability to understand and communicate in English.
