Job summary

HHM Hotels in Omaha’s Downtown/Old Market Area is seeking a Room Attendant who will clean and maintain guest rooms to exact standards. You will greet guests warmly, change linens, and ensure amenities are refreshed while upholding safety guidelines.

Position requires English communication and prior housekeeping experience; schedule may vary with holidays and weekends. Training provided, with opportunities for growth within the housekeeping path.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Understand and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms to standards within the allotted time by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, walls and equipment; report repairs as needed.
• Notify managers about repairs needed in guest rooms.
• Handle items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Follow safety, MSDS and OSHA standards; wear protective equipment.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Strive to improve guest satisfaction and overall department scores.

Your Focus

• Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms according to standards within the allotted time frame by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furniture, walls or equipment.
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.

• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background And Skills
