Job summary

Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated hotel housekeeping team member to maintain guest rooms and public spaces with a focus on cleanliness and safety. You will support fellow associates and ensure a welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a tight-knit team in a fast-paced hotel setting. Training provided; benefits include parking and meals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to scrub and scour surfaces and work in confined spaces.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and assist with heavy supplies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe, clean guest experience.
• Clean bathrooms, dust surfaces, empty trash, restock linen and amenities.
• Strip beds, change linens, and prepare rooms for new guests.
• Sign for keys, restock carts, and report maintenance issues as needed.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
