Job summary

Sheraton Music City is seeking a hotel housekeeping associate to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for guests and staff. You will stock amenities, clean corridors and rooms, and support guests and associates with a positive, service-focused attitude.

Ideal candidates have hotel experience, enjoy teamwork, and can lift up to 100 lbs as needed, with reliable attendance and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience is preferred.
• Self-starting with a positive attitude and teamwork.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items and be on feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors; polish mirrors and elevator doors.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, stairwells, and foyers.
• Assist with moving furniture as directed by supervisor.
• Follow attendance rules and be available to work regularly.

NoOverviewMaintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe following are specific contributions that must be developed during the training program in order to successfully complete the program and be placed in a hotel with or without reasonable accommodation:•Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies directly to room attendants.•Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.•Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.•Vacuum, sweep, and/or mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.•Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.•Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.•Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
