Join Our Team as a Room Attendant - Housekeeper at SpringHill Suites Scranton Wilkes-Barre

We are hiring a Room Attendant to ensure guest rooms meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort. This role offers a clear growth path to supervisory positions such as Housekeeping Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and Executive Housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally.
• Clean guest rooms efficiently, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing.
• Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities.
• Polish furniture and fixtures; dust surfaces and equipment.
• Report repairs needed in guest rooms to management.
• Handle lost and found items according to policy.
• Follow safety procedures, wear protective gear, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform additional duties such as house person and lobby attendant tasks during peak times or staff shortages.
• Focus on guest satisfaction scores and work to improve overall guest experience.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
