We are seeking a qualified physical Room Attendant who is highly motivated and can ensure rooms are inviting and comfortable.
Applicant must have the ability to work independently and efficiently perform cleaning duties.
Key Requirements/Qualifications:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, more than 10 lbs. often; housekeeper carts can weigh more than 30 lbs. to push or pull.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Detail-oriented individual capable of focusing on cleaning responsibilities to ensure each room is set up as required by the property.
- Ability to maintain a composed, gracious, and professional attitude.
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Replenish items in rooms for guest use, including towels, linens, and amenities.
- Accommodate and anticipate guest needs, responding promptly and professionally.
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms and bathrooms as assigned, including vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linens, and emptying trash cans.
- Report any maintenance needs or items left behind by guests to the appropriate department.
- Familiarize yourself with the hotel's safety and emergency procedures.
This role is subject to the successful completion of a background check related to the role.
