Job summary

The Lakefront Anchorage hotel is recruiting for a full-time swing shift (2-10) Room Attendant to join our team. This position cleans hotel rooms and provides exceptional housekeeping to enhance guest experiences, including cleaning fixtures and making beds, with a 40 lb lift limit and up to 100 lb push/pull tasks.

Responsibilities include restocking amenities, reporting maintenance needs, and ensuring rooms meet cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests.
• Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance to signify completion.
• Be able to clean 16 rooms in an eight-hour shift.
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees as well as guests.
• Hotel cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean hotel rooms in accordance with established hotel policies and procedures.
• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floor surfaces.
• Strip and make beds, changing bed linens which may require lifting bedspread up to 40 lb.
• Make up rollaway beds and cribs in a vacated room and notify house attendants for storage.
• Assist in keeping housekeeping storage closets neat and secure.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves.
• Replenish amenities, linens and supplies in guest rooms.
• Report maintenance issues and report any suspicious individuals or activities.

The role of the room attendant is to clean hotel rooms in accordance with established hotel policies and procedures. This position is responsible for providing exceptional quality housekeeping services to enhance our guest's experience.

Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floor surfaces, vacuum room and empty trash.

Strip and make beds, changing beds linens which may require lifting bedspread weighing a maximum of 40 lb.
