Job summary

Q Center is seeking a Full Time Room Attendant to maintain clean guestrooms and provide attentive, courteous service to guests. This role requires knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and equipment handling. You will ensure rooms meet quality standards and assist with pre-cleaning duties and stock replenishment.

The schedule is generally 8am-4:30pm with varying days including weekends. Starting rate is $18.00/hour, with benefits including PTO, 401(K) with employer match, holiday pay, and

Responsibilities

• The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests. This position will also maintain complete knowledge of correct use of equipment.
• Thoroughly clean all assigned guestrooms, according to standards; including high and low dusting, replacing linens, vacuuming, emptying wastebaskets, keeping the bathroom cleaned, wiping down mirrors and windows and replacing towels.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, replenishing guest supplies, cleaning supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed according to shift checklist.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests and fellow employees.
• Thoroughly clean all assigned guestrooms, according to standards; including high and low dusting, replacing linens, vacuuming, emptying wastebaskets, keeping the bathroom cleaned, wiping down mirrors and windows and replacing towels.
