Job Description Summary

The Room Attendant (RA) works with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public space areas, and/or work in the commercial laundry facility, in accordance with brand standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service in all guest interactions according to G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Clean and service rooms and public areas as per standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Notify supervisor upon completing service for room availability updates.
• Monitor laundry supplies, operate washers and dryers, inspect linens, and report damages.
• Minimize waste of supplies and assist with deep cleaning projects.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Handle lost and found items.
• Promote teamwork and ensure safety compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in extended stay industry preferred.
• Fluent in English; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Use of commercial cleaning chemicals required.
• Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Information

Pay range: $23.31 - $25.90/hr. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, hotel discounts, and more.
