Job summary

Sheraton New York Times Square is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant Extra to ensure guest rooms and bathrooms meet high standards. You will clean, restock, and inspect rooms, while maintaining a friendly guest-focused demeanor throughout shifts.

The role requires basic English communication and physical ability to lift and move items as part of daily housekeeping tasks, with a flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus.
• Basic English communication skills required.
• Physical ability to move, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25–30 pounds; may lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms to meet hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and ensure bathrooms are clean and sparkling.
• Restock all guest room supplies and amenities.
• Inspect and clean appliances, including coffee makers.
• Organize linen closet, restock cart, and prepare for shift.
• Greet guests during the shift with a friendly smile.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards
• Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling
• Restock all guest room supplies and amenities
• Inspect and clean any and all appliances, including coffee maker
• Organize linen closet, restock cart, and prepare for the shift
• Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping a plus
• Basic English communication skills
