What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

The cleanliness of the hotel is a key factor in guest satisfaction. Housekeepers play one of the most important roles, ensuring that guest rooms are pristine and welcoming. This role is the “Heart of the House” and provides essential services that enable guests to relax and enjoy their stay. Experienced housekeepers may advance to supervisory or management positions such as Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers, or Executive Housekeepers.

Your Role

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
• Properly utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities
• Perform thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
• Daily change and inspect linens and towels following Green Program standards
• Practice safety standards, identify hazards, and report them promptly
• Respect guests’ property at all times
• Care for equipment responsibly
• Report to work on time and maintain accurate time records according to posted schedule
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co‑workers at all times
• Perform other related duties as requested by the Floor Supervisor

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Strong time‑management skills
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Physical dexterity to move, traverse, and position yourself to reach corners on floors and high places; navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
• Availability to work holidays and weekends
