What you will have an opportunity to do

The cleanliness of a hotel is a key driver of guest satisfaction. We are looking for individuals with great attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate creates a memorable experience for guests through their attention to detail and care in preparing and maintaining guest rooms. This role is central to delivering outstanding service and a positive guest experience. Experienced housekeepers may have opportunities to grow into supervisory or management positions such as Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers, or Executive Housekeeper.

Your Role

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
• Work as a team to achieve resort/hotel cleanliness goals
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked
• Utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities properly
• Ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas
• Change and inspect linens and towels daily, following Green Program standards
• Practice safety standards and report hazards (e.g., broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, broken locks, suspicious persons)
• Respect guests’ property and exercise responsible care of equipment
• Report to work on time according to posted schedule and maintain accurate time records
• Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co‑workers
• Perform other related duties as requested by Floor Supervisor

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience desirable
• Neat, pleasant personality
• Time management skills
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to move, position self to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions, detect odors, position and navigate carts up to 100 lbs in tight spaces
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment (spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, etc.)
• Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
• Ability to work holidays and weekends
