Sleep Inn by Choice Hotels/Buffalo-Amherst in Amherst, NY is seeking a Room Attendant. You will maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and suites, service guests, and support a smooth operation in a busy hotel environment near the University at Buffalo and Boulevard Mall.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work on feet for long periods, and a friendly, guest-focused approach. Shift work includes weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel setting or open to training.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods.
• Can navigate a cart weighing up to 100 lbs., and lift, carry up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms/suites as assigned by supervisor ensuring quality of cleanliness and customer service. This includes cleaning floors, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms.
• Reporting discrepancies and maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
• Working typical shifts that include weekends and holidays when required.

We are looking for a Room Attendant to join our Team! We are in the center of Amherst, making it an easy commute to the University of Buffalo and Boulevard Mall. Our Sleep Inn by Choice Hotels is within 16 miles of a fun filled day at Niagara Falls or Canalside. After a long day, our guests can relax in one of our 91 guest rooms. Our guests enjoy breakfast daily on us served by our friendly Team Members. A great place to stay, a great place to work. The Sleep Inn by Choice Hotels is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. A Room Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our guest rooms and suites.
