We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Hilton at the Ballpark. The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas as assigned.

Position Summary

To clean and stock guest rooms to ensure the company’s high standards of cleanliness.

Example of Duties

Essential Functions

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, windows, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.
• Strip and make beds, changing bed linens which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 40 pounds.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly. Check under bed to remove trash or other debris. Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobby, restrooms, offices, elevators, and stairways as assigned.
• Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for keys, retrieve, and push cart weighing up to 150 pounds. Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and appearance, and signify completion of the room. Report all repairs or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Greet guests in hallways or passing, and inquire if they are enjoying their stay.

Supportive Functions

In addition to essential duties, this position may perform other supportive functions such as responding to guest requests, reporting suspicious activities, turning in found items, and assisting with other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year of prior housekeeping experience (full-service hotel preferred)
