Job summary

Riviera Beach House in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a part-time Room Attendant to join the team. You will clean guest rooms, hallways and other areas to the hotel’s standards and provide friendly, courteous service to guests. Must be available Wednesday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Clean guest rooms to company standards (beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, walls).
• Follow minutes-per-room guidelines.
• Follow company policy for room amenities and secure keys.
• Assist with laundry and report maintenance items as needed.
• Collaborate with team and other departments for hotel performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Description

Riviera Beach House is searching for a part-time Room Attendant to join the team! The room attendant is responsible for cleaning rooms, hallways and other areas as assigned and complying with Company standards.

*Must be available to work Wednesday - Sunday.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls, etc.
• Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager.
• Follow Company policy for room amenities.
• Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager immediately.
• Maintain complete security of master room key. Return the key at the end of shift.
• Never leave the property with key.
• Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention.
• Assist with laundry as needed.
• Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.

Knowledge/Education/Experience: Previous one (1) year experience preferred.

Pay Range: $18.930- $19.28 per hour
