JOB SUMMARY: Room Attendants maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and working areas, including common areas like lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and stairways as needed. They ensure rooms meet hotel standards for stayovers and check-outs, comply with departmental policies, and correctly use cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests regardless of busyness or time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations.
• Be familiar with hotel services, features, and local attractions to respond accurately to guest inquiries.
• Resolve guest requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Deliver and retrieve guest items such as irons and ironing boards.
• Ensure the security and privacy of guest rooms.
• Perform rotation cleaning duties like window washing and deep cleaning as required.
• Clean guest bathrooms, bedrooms, and hallways.
• Empty trash and ashtrays.
• Replace soiled linens and make beds with clean linen.
• Replenish amenities and toiletries as per standards.
• Inspect and replace damaged or soiled bathrobes and linens.
• Clean closets and door tracks, dust furniture, and realign furniture as per the floor plan.
• Attend to guest calls, requests, and complaints in assigned areas.
• Follow brand-standard cleaning procedures and aim to exceed guest satisfaction scores.
• Update room cleaning status and restock carts at shift end.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and carry items for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to push up to 75 lbs. and lift up to 25 lbs.
