Job summary

Hyatt Centric Las Olas is seeking a detail-oriented Room Attendant to maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and respond to guest requests. This role requires the ability to push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs., and maneuver carts up to 250 lbs. Weekend and holiday hours are required.

A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with prior housekeeping experience welcomed but not required. You will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, ensuring rooms are pristine, amenities replenished, and safety

Qualifications

• High School or GED is preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to understand and communicate with guests.
• Must be able to complete a minimum of 16 room credits.
• Hours required: Holidays and weekends; hours may vary based on occupancy levels and hotel needs.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms as assigned.
• Change linens and make the beds.
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms.
• Sweep, vacuum, dust, mop, and pick up trash.
• Replenish guest amenities/toiletries.
• Load and organize cart; store properly at the end of each shift.
• Receive keys and assigned rooms; return at the end of each shift.
• Respond to guest requests and report guest issues.
• Follow proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
