Job summary

Koʻa Kea Resort invites a dedicated Room Attendant to ensure pristine rooms and warm guest relations on Kauai. You will respond to guest needs, clean and stock rooms daily, and report any safety or maintenance issues with care and professionalism. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and courteous service in a luxury resort setting.

The position requires physical stamina, basic math and computer skills, and a commitment to upscale guest experiences on the island of Kaua'i.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of English to communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 20 pounds.
  • Ability to perform physical activities requiring use of arms and legs and moving the body (climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping).
  • Must be a team player.
  • Knowledge of hotel departments and events.
  • Good mathematical and computer skills.
  • High school education and relevant training; additional education preferred.
  • Knowledge of the local area.
  • CPR and first aid training preferred.
  • Additional language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contact.
  • Respond to individual guest needs as they occur.
  • Clean and maintain all assigned rooms and suites daily, including linen, bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, lights, A/C, TV, spot cleaning, and restocking.
  • Report missing items and items in need of repair to supervisor.
  • Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to guests and co-workers.
  • Complete projects professionally with care and adapt to high pressure or changes.
  • Conduct yourself professionally at all times and set standards.
  • Express ideas clearly and communicate information effectively.
