Job summary

Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans is seeking Room Attendants to maintain cleanliness of rooms and suites while delivering high-quality service. You will clean, restock, and refresh amenities to meet 4- or 5-star standards and ensure guest comfort.

Applicants should be available on weekends, possess physical stamina, and be able to lift at least 25 lbs. Training is provided; benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus holiday pay and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with friendly, sincere acknowledgment and respond to special requests.

Hotel Saint Vincent is looking for Room Attendants. Applicants must be available to work weekends and have a passion for housekeeping. Rate of pay: $16.50 hourly.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of assigned rooms/suites. Reports maintenance issues to maintain rooms/suites in compliance with standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Clean rooms/suites, as assigned, which includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and washing windows/tracks.
• Report rooms as clean and available.
• Report maintenance deficiencies to maintain rooms in compliance with hotel standards.
• Strip dirty linens/towels and remove used amenities from room/suite
• Check main cart/closet for supplies, stock as needed
• Greet guests immediately with friendly/sincere acknowledgment
• Clean balconies
• Respond to special requests by guests (such as providing extra amenities or service time).

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

• Provide customer service to guests, including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions
• Assist co-workers, as requested
• Stock and sort supplies
• Deliver and retrieve items/extra amenities on loan to guests, e.g. ironing and ironing boards
• Ensure the security of guest rooms

Requirements
