Job description

We are seeking a reliable room attendant. These are entry level positions with full training provided. There are regular bus services to the hotel from both Edinburgh City Centre and Livingston.

Skills and Experience:

• Good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Team Player.
• Adaptability, and Customer Focus.
• Ability to communicate with all guests.
• A basic level of English (preferred).

Specific Duties:

• To service bedrooms, using cleaning materials and equipment as instructed by the Executive Head Housekeeper.
• To remove any lost property left in the room, and give it to the Executive Head Housekeeper.
• To renew any guest supplies to the correct level.
• To report any damaged and missing items and maintenance faults to the Executive Head Housekeeper as soon as possible.
• To clean corridor areas within the section, or complete any other tasks as allocated by the Executive Head Housekeeper.
• To carry out other duties as required, to ensure the hotel operation is properly maintained to provide total guest satisfaction.
