Job Description Summary

Performs routine cleaning and servicing duties under supervision of Housekeeping Supervisors and the Executive Housekeeper. Responsibilities include servicing guest rooms and baths, while engaging in pleasant interactions with guests to enhance their stay and assist with any issues.

Key Job Functions

• Responds appropriately to guest requests, greeting guests warmly and calling them by name when possible.
• Servicing assigned guest rooms.
• Keeps supply cart and work areas neat and organized.
• Checks equipment for good working order before and after use.
• Removes room service tables, trays, and garbage.
• Changes bed linens daily using proper techniques.
• Replaces soiled towels and linens.
• Performs daily cleaning of showers, tubs, sinks, toilets, and floors.
• Spot cleans walls, windows, doors, and baseboards.
• Dusts and cleans furniture and fixtures daily.
• Replaces in-room amenities and sanitized glassware as needed.
• Cleans appliances and electronics such as refrigerators, coffee makers, and TVs.
• Ensures all lighting is functional and replaces bulbs as needed.
• Handles lost and found items appropriately.
• Practices recycling.
• Performs any additional duties assigned by management.
• Meets guest service standards, including greeting guests warmly and establishing rapport.
• Builds positive relationships with colleagues and works in other hotel areas as needed.
