Summary: The Room Attendant (RA) collaborates with the Housekeeping Management Team to clean guest rooms and public spaces, and/or work in the laundry facility, ensuring adherence to brand standards for guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent service according to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
• Responding to guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Cleaning assigned rooms and areas, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and removing trash.
• Reporting completed service and any issues to supervisors.
• Monitoring laundry supplies and equipment, operating washers and dryers, inspecting linens, and reporting damages.
• Minimizing waste and assisting with deep cleaning projects when needed.
• Reporting safety hazards or repairs needed.
• Handling lost and found items appropriately.
• Promoting teamwork and ensuring compliance with health and safety laws.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, especially in extended stay industry.
• Fluency in English preferred; additional languages are beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
