Position Summary
Responsible for providing housekeeping services by performing cleaning tasks of hotel guestrooms and public areas per quality control standards for cleanliness.

Responsible for providing housekeeping services by performing cleaning tasks of hotel guestrooms and public areas per quality control standards for cleanliness.
Essential Functions
- Provides courteous housekeeping services for guests.
- Washes and sanitizes bathroom floors, tubs, sinks, showers, and commodes.
- Makes beds in neat wrinkle-free condition including roll-aways, cribs, and sleepers.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas.
- Confirms all appliances are operational and set property such as clocks, radios, televisions, and lighting.
- Carries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.
- Empties wastebaskets, cleans ashtrays, and transports trash to disposal areas.
- Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Keeps storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Dusts and polishes furniture and equipment.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and/or polishes floors.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Washes windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
- Hangs draperies and dusts window blinds.
- Disinfects equipment and supplies using germicides or steam sterilizers.
- Observes precautions to protect hotel and guest property and reports damages or thefts.
- Removes debris from driveways, parking lots, and pool areas.
- Polishes silver accessories and metal fixtures.
- Replaces light bulbs.
- Performs duties according to Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards.
- Maintains general knowledge and provides information about resort events and services.
- Provides input or suggestions for process or service improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Position Qualifications
Must be 18 or older.

Experience
Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
Other Requirements
Knowledge of cleaning agents, solvents, and equipment.

- Constant standing and handling.
- Frequent walking, reaching, and bending.
- Occasional climbing, crawling, and kneeling.
Lift/Carry
- 10-50 lbs frequently, up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Push/Pull
- Up to 40 lbs frequently and occasionally more.
Other Physical Requirements
Near and far vision, good sense of sound and smell.
Work Environment
Busy gaming environment with moderate to loud noise, smoke, and distractions.
Working Conditions
Includes passing drug tests, background checks, and a 180-day introductory period.
