Job summary

Half Moon Bay Lodge is seeking a dynamic Room Attendant to join our team in Half Moon Bay, CA. The role involves cleaning rooms, hallways, and assigned areas to company standards, while maintaining a friendly guest experience.

Responsibilities include housekeeping duties, guest communication, and upkeep of rooms following security and policy guidelines. Training and the Team Member Travel Program are included with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Clean guest rooms to Company standards (beds, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms, walls).
• Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by leadership.
• Turn in all items left in guestrooms to the manager and maintain security of keys.
• Assist with laundry as needed and report maintenance items requiring immediate attention.

Description

Half Moon Bay Lodge is looking for a dynamic Room Attendant to join the team! The room attendant is responsible for cleaning rooms, hallways and other areas as assigned and complying with Company standards.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Clean guest rooms to Company standards including but not limited to making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms completely, wiping down walls,
• Clean rooms within the minutes-per-room guideline established by the Executive Housekeeper and General
• Follow Company policy for room
• Turn in all items left in guestroom to manager
• Maintain complete security of master room Return the key at the end of shift.
• Never leave the property with
• Report any maintenance items that need immediate
• Assist with laundry as
• Report any missing/found articles or damage to the Executive
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by

Pay Range: $17.91 - $18.50 per hour

1 year: Knowledge/Education/Experience: Previous one (1) year experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: Basic cleaning skills. Ability to communicate in English with guests, management and fellow team members to their understanding desirable. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Dependable.

Physical Requirements: Frequently walking indoors and outdoors, climbing stairs. Repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, crawling, lifting and carrying. Reaching above, at and below shoulder level. Lifting and carrying unassisted up to 20 lbs. Exposure to cleaning agents.
