We are seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at the Embassy Suites Beach Resort in Gulf Shores, Alabama. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by cleaning guest rooms and providing excellent service.

Position Overview

The Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restocking amenities, and responding to guest requests with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and refresh guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Restock amenities, linens, and towels according to hotel standards.
• Ensure all rooms meet cleanliness expectations before guest arrival.
• Report maintenance issues or damages.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and courteously.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas organized.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
