Position Overview

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, attractive guestrooms and providing courteous, attentive service to all guests.

Responsibilities

1. Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
2. Complete pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping carts.
3. Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
4. Maintain cleanliness in hallways, public areas, and closets.
5. Restock housekeeping carts for the next day.
6. Replenish chemical bottles.
7. Report missing items (e.g., irons, hair dryers) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
8. Report maintenance issues immediately.
9. Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
10. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field experience preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
