Job summary

Performance Hospitality is seeking a Room Attendant for the B Ocean Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL to ensure spotless guestrooms and guest satisfaction. You’ll clean and refresh guestrooms to brand standards, restock amenities, report maintenance issues, and deliver friendly, efficient service with pride in every detail.

You will follow SOPs, work with a team, and contribute to a premium guest experience through attention to cleanliness and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (will train reliable candidates).
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Detail-oriented, organized, dependable; positive, team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Guestroom Care: Clean, sanitize, and reset rooms per SOP and inspection standards.
• Linen & Amenities: Replace linens/terry; restock amenities and supplies; follow par levels.
• Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report defects via radio/CMMS; tag rooms out-of-service when needed.
• Safety & Compliance: Use chemicals/equipment safely; follow PPE, OSHA, SDS, privacy, and key-control policies.
• Cart & Storage: Keep carts stocked and organized; maintain back-of-house areas; minimize waste.

The Room Attendant ensures a spotless, comfortable stay for every guest. You’ll clean and refresh guestrooms to brand standards, restock amenities, report maintenance issues, and deliver friendly, efficient service with pride in every detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Guestroom Care: Clean, sanitize, and reset rooms (beds, bathrooms, floors, surfaces, balconies/kitchenettes where applicable) per SOP and inspection standards.
• Linen & Amenities: Replace linens/terry; restock amenities, coffee/tea, and collateral; follow par levels and sustainability guidelines.
• Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report defects (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, furniture) via radio/CMMS; tag rooms out-of-service when needed.
• Safety & Compliance: Use chemicals/equipment safely; follow PPE, OSHA, SDS, privacy, and key-control policies.
• Cart & Storage: Keep carts stocked and organized; maintain clean closets/back-of-house areas; minimize waste and breakage.
• Public Areas (as assigned): Support hallway/lobby touch-ups to ensure consistent cleanliness.
• Service Mindset: Greet guests warmly, respond to requests, and elevate concerns to leadership.
• Documentation: Complete daily room credits, checklists, and lost & found procedures accurately and on time.
