Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown El Paso is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. You will ensure guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and welcoming, maintaining high standards of hygiene and privacy.

Responsibilities include cleaning and restocking rooms, reporting issues, and supporting teammates to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift during shifts.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

What you will be doing

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds and change linens, towels, and other room supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean all areas of guest rooms and bathrooms.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including showers, tubs, sinks, toilets, and countertops.
• Replenish guest room amenities and supplies.
• Ensure guest rooms are properly organized and presented according to hotel standards.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and questions.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
• Follow all hotel, housekeeping, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Respect guest privacy and hotel property.
• Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within established timeframes.
• Assist other Housekeeping team members as needed.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
