Marriott is seeking a diligent Housekeeping Room Attendant to maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards. You will ensure rooms are ready for sale and support a welcoming environment for guests during their stay.

The role requires prior housekeeping experience or training, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with a team. Physical stamina to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Maintain positive guest and client relations at all times.
• Collaborate with all departments and communicate through GXP.
• Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Clean and replenish guest bedrooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
• Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned work.
• Maintain cleanliness levels in public areas of the hotel including hallways and closets.
• Report any defects to the corresponding areas responsible.
• Use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.

They ensure that sufficient rooms are clean and ready for sale and clean occupied guest rooms.
