Job summary

Belfast Harbor Inn in Belfast, ME is seeking a reliable housekeeper to ensure guest rooms, restrooms and public areas meet our cleanliness standards. You will make beds, tidy linens, launder and iron as needed, and report any maintenance issues, while delivering friendly service to guests.

We offer $15–$16 hourly, a team-focused environment, and opportunities to grow in hospitality. Prior cleaning experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED required. This role is on-site in Belfast.

Qualifications

• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques.
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred.
• Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Reply to general questions guests have during their stay.
• Make beds, strip sheets, stock rooms with toiletries, do laundry, vacuum, mop, and perform other cleaning duties as needed.
• Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies.
• Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed.
• Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel’s standard before guests arrive

We’re in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us.
